Three coaches. One goal:

Helping you run stronger, smarter, and with joy.

At MCM, we know that every runner is different. That’s why our coaching team brings a range of experience, insight, and energy to support you at every stage of your journey. Whether you’re chasing your first 10K or aiming for a podium at Comrades, we’re here to guide you with plans that fit your life, and coaching that meets you where you are.

Mcm coach michelle mee

Founder of MCM with 20+ years in endurance sports and ASA Level 2 and Training Peaks certifications. I’ve coached hundreds through Comrades, Two Oceans, and Ironman with a philosophy that blends structure and empathy.

Every plan is personalised to fit your goals, lifestyle, and mindset, helping you build strength, resilience, and a lasting love for the sport.

What’s the most beautiful race you’ve ever run?

My running provided an opportunity to compete in races all over the world. However, my top races are homegrown in Mpumalanga. My heart belongs to Elands Valley. My most perfectly executed race is Loskop 50km, which also holds a special place, and of course, the bag of oranges seals the deal. It is my favourite distance on my favourite route.

How do you get out the door when motivation is low?

I don’t think about the run, I think about the feeling of being outdoors in the fresh air, watching the sunrise. Usually, I finish a run feeling energised and ready to tackle the day!

Mcm coach lauren rolfe

I found my stride in school cross country and turned my passion into a personal training career. After earning my Green Number at Comrades and Blue Number at Two Oceans, I now coach runners using the same proven methods, blending smart planning with functional strength to help you move better, run stronger, and stay injury-free.

What’s the strangest thing you’ve seen on a run?

A giraffe that almost ran us over

What’s the most beautiful race you’ve ever run?

Two Oceans. The sunrise over Muizenberg and the view from Chappies is breathtaking and ready to tackle the day!

Mcm coach lindsay stafford

A former sprinter, swimmer, and equestrian, I caught the running bug in 2020, going from garden laps to a 3:13 marathon and an 8:06 Comrades with a Bill Rowan medal. The game changer? A coach who believed in me. Now I’m here to do the same, helping runners unlock their potential through consistency, confidence, and personalised support..

What running gear you can’t live without?

Stay Consistent. The golden nugget of my running journey. Consistency beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard!

What’s the best running advice you’ve ever received?

Injiji Toe Socks! They’re an absolute game-changer for distance running and blister prevention. Every toe has its home, with no neighbouring altercations
